Born On The Bayou is an authentic Cajun spice blend, perfect for blackening, seasoning for vegetables, meats, sandwiches, etc. With only 20mg of sodium per 1/4 teaspoon serving.

Many years ago, Natural Nick grew disheartened with the enormous sodium content in most blackening spices. We set out to blend our own blackening spice blend that would have a big flavor without the excessive amount of sodium found on store shelves. The result is a balanced blend of spices typical of authentic Cajun Cuisine, with a mild amount of "heat", that can be used liberally to your taste.
